Wellington, FL (December 4, 2015)— Todd Minikus, member of the 2015 bronze medal winning U.S Pan American Games Show Jumping Team and 2014 USHJA Rider of the Year, has recently partnered with leading equestrian company Horseware Ireland. Minikus, who is well known for his ability to “think like a horse,” is a perfect fit for Horseware Ireland, a company that made its international reputation by creating products that are in-tune with horses’ needs and comfort. Horseware Ireland offers equine blankets that not only protect horses from the elements, but also fit comfortably as well as a full line of clothing and outerwear for riders.
“I am extremely happy to represent Horseware Ireland and all of the brands that are affiliated with them,” said Minikus. “Horseware’s philosophy matches my ideals with the products they make and their standard for excellence.” Currently, Minikus uses Horseware Ireland’s Rambo line of sheets and blankets as well Ice Vibe boots. He is looking forward to being outfitted in the company’s Triple Crown Custom and Alessandro Albanese clothes for himself and his staff.
The partnership between Minikus and Horseware was solidified after the incredibly successful year that Minikus has had in 2015. Minikus started the year by leading the U.S team to victory in the $100,000 Nations Cup of Palm Beach at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. He continued his winning streak in Lexington, Kentucky, and then internationally at the famed Spruce Meadows in Alberta, Canada. Minikus next headed to Toronto to support the Team USA at the Pan American Games as the traveling alternate. Minikus then jetted off to Europe to continue his tour with Team USA in the Nations Cups in Hickstead, UK; and Dublin, IRE; before returning back to the states to compete at the Hampton Classic, Canadian Pacific $1 Million Grand Prix in Suagerties, NY; and the 2nd Annual Central Park Horse Show in New York City.
Emma McCabe, Sponsorship Director at Horseware Ireland, explained, “Horseware is proud to support a great American rider like Todd Minikus. He has an undeniably strong career and represents his sponsors and horse owners with integrity. We are extremely excited to see where our new partnership goes.” Horseware was founded in 1985 in Dundalk, Ireland, by Tom and Carol MacGuinness. Horseware is known as a leading manufacturer of clothing for horses and riders. The company continues to make the most innovative products and partner with other industry leaders such as Triple Crown Custom blankets, Ice Vibe therapeutic boots, and Alessandro Albanese sportswear. Horseware’s original Rambo turnouts are still manufactured in Dundalk.
Show Jumping enthusiasts can catch Minikus and his horses in action in their Horseware Ireland gear at the 2015 Equestrian Sport Production Holiday Series in Wellington, Florida and at the 2016 Winter Equestrian Festival.
